Visualization of time-varying volumetric data sets.
Resource Name: Visualization of time-varying volumetric data sets.
Resource Function: This software service enables the visualization of three dimensional and four dimensional (3D over time) images. The service supports transient data sources (data sets dynamically created by e.g. running simulations) and simultaneous visualization of multiple data sources in situ.
Example Application:
Visualization of images acquired by medical (DICOM) imaging devices (i.e. CT, MR, ultrasound).
Visualization of in-silico tumour simulation results.
Monitoring in-silico tumour simulation progress while simulation is running.
Simultaneous visualization of medical images and in-silico tumour simulation results in situ.
Expected release date A prototype version was released and demonstrated April 2007. The service is continuously undergoing changes.
