Kids

General information

In the last decades the treatment and prognosis of childhood cancer has improved. The overall survival rose from 54% (1978-1982) to 75% (1993-1997) to about 80 % today. Part of this success story is the enrolment of children with cancer in prospective clinical trials, giving these patients the best treatment available today. For further improvement research in the molecular field is necessary. ACGT aims to integrate research data with clinical data for achieving a more individualized treatment.
